What Does 0.8 kWh Cost?
The most accurate estimate uses the electricity rate shown on your own bill. Multiply our measured 0.8 kWh by the price you pay for each kilowatt-hour.
For example, if your all-in rate is shown in dollars per kWh, multiply that number by 0.8. Delivery charges, fixed monthly fees, time-of-use pricing, and taxes can affect what the load ultimately costs on your bill.

Why Does It Use Less Electricity Than a Traditional Dryer?
Samsung identifies this model as a ventless all-in-one machine that uses heat-pump drying. Instead of creating heat with a large resistance element and exhausting that warm air outside, a heat-pump dryer removes moisture and reuses much of the warmed air in a closed loop.
That design is why heat-pump dryers can use less electricity than conventional electric dryers. It does not mean every Samsung load will use 0.8 kWh. That number is our own measurement from one specific 10-pound load.
Manufacturer information: Samsung says the ventless Bespoke AI Laundry Combo uses heat-pump drying and a standard 120-volt outlet. Measured full-cycle time
How Long Does It Take?
Our 10-pound load took 2 hours and 39 minutes from the start of washing to the end of drying. That is a real result from our machine, but it is not a fixed cycle time.
A larger load, heavier fabrics, a different wash cycle, a higher dryness setting, colder incoming water, or wetter clothes entering the drying phase can change the total time.

How Much Water Does It Use?
The same 10-pound wash-and-dry test used 14.14 gallons of water. We include that number because operating cost is not only about electricity. Your own water and sewer rates may also affect the total cost per load.
As with electricity use, water use can vary with cycle selection, load size, fabric sensing, extra rinses, soil level, and other settings.
A careful comparison
Is It Cheaper to Run Than a Traditional Washer and Dryer?
It can be, especially when compared with a conventional electric resistance dryer, but we would not promise a specific household savings number from one test.
Your result depends on the washer and dryer you are replacing, your local electricity rate, how many loads you run, which cycles you select, and how your household uses the machine. The useful comparison is your current setup's measured energy per load against the Samsung's measured energy under similar conditions.
