Yes. In our real-world use, the Samsung Bespoke AI Laundry Combo dries normal everyday loads well.
After a year with the machine, drying performance has been good enough that we would buy it again. The realistic tradeoff is not that it cannot dry clothes—it is that its lower-temperature heat-pump system and one-load-at-a-time design feel different from a fast, separate vented dryer. Load size, fabric mix, settings, and maintenance can all affect the result.

How Well Has It Dried in Our Home?
For normal, properly sized everyday loads, the answer has been straightforward: the clothes come out dry, and the convenience still works the way we hoped it would. We load the machine once, start a wash-and-dry cycle, and do not have to return midway through to move wet laundry into another machine.
That matters more than a dramatic temperature comparison. After extended use, drying has not changed our overall verdict—we would buy the Samsung combo again. The main limitation remains throughput: while one load is drying, the same drum cannot begin washing the next load.

What Should You Realistically Expect?
The Samsung uses a ventless heat-pump system. It circulates warm, dry air through the drum, removes moisture through a heat exchanger, and reuses the air instead of sending hot air through an exterior vent. That lets it dry at a lower temperature than many conventional vented dryers.
In practice, judge it by whether the clothes are dry—not by whether the drum or laundry feels as hot as it did with an older resistance dryer. The lower-temperature process can be gentler on fabrics, but a large or difficult load may take longer.

When results change
Why Might a Load Still Feel Damp?
No sensor-dry system can make every possible load behave the same. Thick towels or heavy work clothes hold moisture differently from light shirts, and a mixed load can finish unevenly. Overloading also limits tumbling and airflow.
- Do not overload the drum: leave enough room for the load to tumble and for air to move through it.
- Separate very heavy fabrics when needed: jeans, towels, and heavy work clothes can need a different cycle or more time than lighter items.
- Watch very small loads: a tiny load may not tumble across the sensors consistently.
- Check the dry setting: cycle choice, dryness level, temperature, and Eco Dry settings can change the finish.
- Keep the airflow path clean: lint buildup or a dirty heat exchanger can reduce drying performance.

How Long Does It Take to Wash and Dry?
Our measured 10-pound load took 2 hours and 39 minutes for the complete wash-and-dry cycle. That is one real result, not a guaranteed cycle time. A heavier load, a different fabric mix, a higher dryness setting, or different starting conditions can change it.

Performance depends on airflow
Maintenance Matters More Than It Does on Day One
After extended ownership, we treat lint and heat-exchanger cleaning as part of drying performance. If airflow is restricted, the machine has a harder time removing moisture efficiently.
Samsung says to clean the lint filter after every dryer cycle and to clean the heat exchanger when its reminder appears. Follow the instructions for your exact model and do not bend the exchanger fins.

The practical verdict
Who Will Be Happy With the Drying Performance?
It is a strong fit for someone who values putting a load in once and returning to washed-and-dried clothes, wants ventless installation, and does not need to run a second wash while the first load dries.
A separate washer and high-output vented dryer may still fit better if your household regularly needs several loads moving at the same time or if the shortest possible drying time matters more than one-step convenience. For the way we do laundry, the Samsung's drying performance and convenience have been worth that tradeoff.
